Freezer maintenance
Freezers are mostly used in shops, shopping malls, nightclubs, karaoke and other places. However, unreasonable maintenance will affect the service life. The following is the maintenance method of the freezer.
1. The display cabinet should be placed in a freezer on a flat ground, although the use environment is better. Do not lie down. The indoor environment where the display freezer is placed should be well ventilated and dry. The top of the freezer should be more than 50cm from the ceiling, the left and right sides of the freezer should be more than 20cm away from other objects, and the front should be more than 20cm away from other objects.
2. Newly purchased or moved display cabinets should be allowed to stand for 2 to 6 hours before turning on. Before use, run the empty cabinet for 2 to 6 hours after energizing and stopping. Do not start immediately. Wait for more than 5 minutes to avoid burning the compressor. Generally, the gear position of the thermostat of the freezer needs to be adjusted appropriately according to the season, ambient temperature, and usage.
3. It is more appropriate to place the thermostat at 5" or 6" in summer; in spring and autumn, it is more appropriate to place the thermostat at 3" or 4". When using the freezer, try to reduce the number of door openings and shorten the time for accessing food. Hot food must be cooled to room temperature before being placed in the freezer. For indirect air-cooled refrigerators, do not keep food too close to the air outlet when storing food.
4. For direct cooling refrigerators, when the frosting thickness reaches 5 mm, manual defrosting is required. Routine maintenance: clean the compressor and condenser regularly. Clean the freezer regularly at least once every two months. When cleaning the freezer, cut off the power first, scrub gently with neutral detergent and water, and then dipped in clean water to wipe off the detergent.
5. Do not use washing powder, decontamination powder, talcum powder, alkaline detergent, thinner, boiled water, oil, brushes, etc. to clean the display cabinet. When the freezer is not in use for a long time, you should unplug the power plug and wipe the freezer clean. After the freezer is sufficiently dry, close the door of the freezer.
If the electric freezer is disabled in cold weather, it should be energized 1-2 times a month at least to allow the refrigerator to run for 10 minutes. At the same time, it must be thoroughly maintained during the first shutdown.
Freezer condensers and compressors are mostly exposed to the outside, and they are easily stained with dust and spider webs. Use a soft brush to remove them. Do not flush with water when cleaning the condenser and compressor, so as not to reduce the insulation performance of the electrical appliance. When cleaning the inner wall, all items and parts should be taken out, and a thorough cleaning should be carried out. At the same time, the door seal should be wiped clean, and a proper amount of talcum powder should be applied to avoid seal adhesion.
If there are still peculiar smells inside after cleaning, you can use 3% baking soda to carefully scrub the inner wall of the storage room, so that the peculiar smell can be removed quickly. In addition, it should be noted that, do not forcibly cut off the power supply of the refrigerator. If the power supply is forcibly cut off and the power supply is turned on immediately when the refrigerant has a fairly high pressure, the high pressure causes the motor to be overloaded. At this time, the starting current is about 20-30 times the normal value, and it is easy to burn the motor. Therefore, when the electric freezer is stopped, the temperature in the refrigerator should drop to a certain value, and the power plug can be unplugged after the thermostat automatically cuts off the power.
