Some consumers who have just started to buy refrigerators often reflect that the refrigerators at home often make noise, some of which are louder and some of which are relatively quiet.

What should I do if the refrigerator has noise? In fact, as a long-term customer of refrigerators, it is normal to know that some refrigerators have noise. As long as some measures are taken, the noise can be avoided.

Now I will introduce to you the solutions and precautions for the noise of the refrigerator.

1. Adjust the balance of the four feet at the bottom of the refrigerator. There may be a problem with the placement of the refrigerator. The refrigerator should be placed on a flat and firm floor. Balance the refrigerator so that the four feet at the bottom are on a flat surface.

Many refrigerators have four-foot adjustment balance knobs at the bottom, which can be adjusted to be fixed when the noise is minimal. If there is no balance knob device, you can add rubber pads under the feet of the refrigerator to achieve balance and minimize noise.

2. The pipeline and the box are reinforced and firm. This is the connection problem of each part of the refrigerator. It is necessary to check whether the connection and reinforcement part between the adjustment outer pipeline and the box is loose, so as to avoid resonance when the compressor is working.

Therefore, the outer pipeline must be fixed well, and the bolts should be added with spring washers to prevent loosening.

3. The compressor base should be firmly installed. If you press the compressor with your hand, the noise will be significantly reduced, and if you lift your hand, the noise will increase again. Generally, the compressor base fixed vibration damping rubber pad is unevenly stressed or the bolts are loose.

If the compressor bottom plate is not firm, adjust and tighten the bolts of the connecting parts and replace the washers that have lost their elasticity.

4. The accessories should be installed firmly. In the freezing and refrigerating room of the refrigerator, the manufacturer has equipped the user with accessories such as ice box, layered network, drawer, etc., which should be installed firmly according to a certain position and the edge of the groove.

Do not put debris on the top of the refrigerator to prevent resonance and noise.

First, the "hissing" sound or the "gurgling, gurgling" sound of running water made by the refrigerator during use is normal. These sounds are the normal sounds of the refrigerant circulating in the refrigeration pipes of the refrigerator.

The cooling effect will not be affected. On the contrary, there may be a blockage in the refrigeration system.

Second, it is normal to hear a "click" sound when the refrigerator is started or stopped. This is the sound of a hammer relay, thermal protector or defrost timer contact opening or closing,

Sometimes it is accompanied by a vibrating sound.

Third, the intercooled refrigerator (also known as the frost-free refrigerator) sometimes emits a slight ticking sound, which is the sound of the defrost timing relay turning. Some refrigerators can also hear a slight blowing sound,This is the sound of cold air blowing when the small fan of the refrigerator evaporator is running.

Fourth, the refrigerator sometimes emits a continuous humming sound during operation, which comes from a U-shaped exhaust pipe connected to the compressor. The function of this exhaust pipe is to transport the high temperature and high pressure gaseous refrigerant discharged from the compressor to the condenser. Considering the effect of thermal expansion and contraction when manufacturing the exhaust pipe, it is usually made into a U shape.

When the compressor is running, the U-shaped exhaust pipe will have a resonance phenomenon, which is the reason for the humming sound. This noise does not affect the normal operation of the refrigerator. The way to eliminate this sound is very simple,Just wrap a piece of string or a piece of tape around the U-shaped tube so it doesn't vibrate.

From the above content, we can know that the key to solving the noise of the refrigerator lies in the firmness of the refrigerator. When placing the refrigerator, you must choose a safe and reasonable location.

Usually people are used to putting the refrigerator in the corner of the wall, which is also fine. At the same time, if the above methods still can't solve the problem of refrigerator noise, you can seek after-sales service for help, or you can find someone to repair it.
